Blackmail is a criminal offence of extortion based on threatening and deterring. According to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Croatia, perpetrators of the criminal act of blackmailing or threatening shall account for their acts before the law. The victim's first step is to contact the police for help with a detailed statement.
